You blink, and the streetlight flickers

You turn, and the room feels smaller

Did the clock just skip a second?

Or was it never counting at all?

But they looked at you like you shouldn't be seen?

Have you ever reached for the light

Only to find your hands weren't right?

Who wrote my name before?

If I leave, will I be erased?
